I love art and travel, it takes me to many wonderful places for example the Amazon and Cusco in Peru and of course here in West Cork, Ireland. I'm a full time professional artist who occasionally teaches privately. Sometimes I invite people to join me on a daily fee paying basis, for part, or all of a Sketching Adventure.

Unlike more traditional en plein air work, were you could be stuck out in the middle of a field all day, (a bit unkind perhaps, but you know what I mean), sketching is a wonderful skill enabling you to quickly capture people, places and things on the move. When you know how, you can very effectively fill dozens of pages during the space of a day using drawing and painting techniques which are fast and fun. All with a vitality, freshness and accuracy even seasoned artists recognise as something they need to do on a regular basis.
